This is a really well restored example that a QLD based club sold on eBay recently - for a surprisingly low price!

Other Mini Number 2 - Bluey
Other Mini Number 1 - Greenie
I've been collecting images of round nose mini vans as I come across them and I figure this is the best place to put them. The idea is to use them for ideas and as reference material as we try to restore Vanman. Most of the images come from eBay - if anyone has a problem with us using them just let me know.
I like this one - very neat job - something to aspire to! Shame it doesn't have a back seat...

Our to-do list
Made a list recently of all the things that need to be addressed:
- Door kickpads
- Speedo/Dash
- Hubcaps (got these new stainless steel ones on eBay)
- Front l/h guard (got this new one on eBay)
- Inside light cover
- Front door hinges (Dad got some new 2nd hand ones off eBay)
- Rear door rubbers
- Passenger door handle lever (seems to be fitted with one that's too small)
- 145 x 10" tyres ($90 Bob Jane, $110 Khumo from Beaurepairs)
- Exhaust
- Switch Console Plate
- Wiper Blades
- Door Window Rubbers

The Pickup
Hi,
This is the blog for "Van Man" - a Mini Van that Dad & I purchased on eBay that we intend to restore.
It's a 1970 (not 100% sure of the year) Morris Mini Van - last registered in Victoria Australia as DAE 562, but it's currently unregistered.
There is lots to do and we'll be adding more as we go along.
